Direct answer

Feed Voidbloom into the top of a Flux Emanator. It converts each unit into Fluxite that grows from beneath the machine.

The Sandustry Flux Emanator converts Voidbloom into Fluxite. Supply Voidbloom from the top of the machine, wait for the conversion, then mine the Fluxite that appears underneath.

Unlocking the Flux Emanator

The current official Research page lists the Flux Emanator in Tier 5 for 2,000 Gold. Research is marked as work in progress, so both the tier and cost are dynamic.

These values were checked on August 16, 2026. Confirm them in the current in-game Research tab if a later update changes the progression tree.

How to use it

  1. Obtain Voidbloom. The official material page says it is made by combining Void Petals with Redsand.
  2. Drop the Voidbloom onto the top of the Flux Emanator.
  3. Wait for the conversion; the process is not instant.
  4. Leave open space beneath the machine for Fluxite to form.
  5. Dig the generated Fluxite to collect it.

The current official pages state that 1 Voidbloom converts into 1 Fluxite. Fluxite grows outward from beneath the machine when space is available and follows nearby solid contours rather than passing through them.

What Fluxite is for

Fluxite is an upgrade resource for tools, weapons, and drones. Small amounts can generate naturally in the world, while the Flux Emanator provides a renewable production route once you reach the later research tier.

Fluxite is a solid, diggable material. The machine creates it in the world below the output rather than placing a finished item directly into your inventory.

Layout advice that is safe to follow

Keep the underside of the Flux Emanator clear and accessible. A wall can redirect the growth pattern, so a cramped chamber may make the output harder to reach even though the machine is working.

The collected current sources do not establish a complete automated transport-and-mining design. Build the basic input and harvesting loop first rather than copying an older layout that claims to be fully automatic.

Ignore these Demo-era claims

Some older material says only one Flux Emanator can be built or describes the machine as the end of available content. Those claims were tied to an earlier Demo and are not used in this guide.

The official Flux Emanator page also labels its performance tip specifically as a Demo note. Do not treat Demo ball-size, lag, or mod advice as confirmed current Early Access behavior.
